Terms and Conditions of Website Use

Data Protection - we are fully committed to the Data Protection Act 1998, and dedicated to the privacy of your information.

When you register in HispaMerchants or when you make a purchase through our website, or through our call centre, we collect personal information from you.

The information is used to enable us to process and deliver your order. By registering your details on our website, you consent to HispaMerchants maintaining, recording, holding and using personal data collected about you.

We may also use the information to send you offers we feel may be of particular interest to you.

Delivery: - Delivery is £7.80 per order. We will deliver your wine to anywhere in the United Kingdom.

Availability: - Wine being an agricultural product, can run out without giving us time enough to stop offering it.

Being aware of this we have created an information system composed of two variables given to customers at the moment of purchase:

1. Availability time: we estimate for each product the maximum period of time it can take for us to have it delivered to our customers in the UK.

2. Availability amount: we give you any amount restriction when the availability is low enough, and notices such as "Subject to Demand" when the amount available is uncertain.

With this system, we hope to minimize the unfortunate situation of running out of a product, but in case this happened, you will be properly informed and given the chance to change your order or to be refunded for the corresponding amount.

Prices and Payment: all prices are quoted in pounds sterling per bottle and per case, as marked, and products can only be bought by the case.

The prices include Value Added Tax, unless otherwise specified.

All delivery charges are additional.

Payment can be made using the following methods: Switch, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Age Restriction: it is against the law in the UK to sell or supply wine to any person under 18.

By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (If you're purchasing wine as a gift the recipient must also be over 18 years old).

If our couriers are in doubt as to the age of the recipient of an order, they may request an ID, and if this is not satisfactory, they will not be able to leave the wine.

Once the wine is delivered following your delivery instructions, it becomes the recipient's responsibility.

Security: we use a secure server with secure sockets layer (SSL) technology for the transfer of personal and credit card information.



We also apply security measures in all our internal proceedings in order to protect our customers' information.

Protecting your password from being disclosed to any third party is your responsibility.

Cancellation and Non-Delivery: if you buy any of our wine and you don't like it, for whatever reason, or any bottle is broken or spoilt upon delivery we'll replace it, or reimburse you for the full amount of that bottle.

You may cancel your order for any reason within 7 working days from the date of delivery of your order, provided all the bottles are unopened and intact. We will refund the amount of the order within 30 days from the date of cancellation, once the wine has been collected by our courier, and returned to our warehouse and inspected.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to reimburse the delivery charge when you have exercised your right to cancel your order.
Claims for non-delivery must be made within three months of your order date.
